Consorzio del Mincio in collaboration with Associazione Novae Deae organizes an open-air concert to celebrate the 100th anniversary from the reclamation of river Mincio, with a programme tied to the theme of water.
On the lakeside, sorrounded by the wonderful landscape of Sirmione, the Ensemble Qoulisse – trombone quartet composed by Fabrizio Monticelli, Davide Redolfi, Anna Fioletti and Gianpaolo Londoño – with the special participation of Alessandro Cordini and Roberto Bracchi, will play Water Music by Georg Friedrich Haendel and some pieces by Wagner, Debussy and Gerschwin, going up to Fighting Trombones, almost a echo of the fight that unions are currently facing against the drought.
