Water is the narrative thread of a musical programme that proposes pieces from the 17th Century until nowadays, from “Water Music” by Georg Friedrich Haendel through Wagner, Debussy, Gerschwin, up to Fighting Trombones, echo of the fight that Unions are facing against the drought.

Absolutely not accidental the choice of a trombone ensemble: pipes, keys and pistons that work for reclamation and rule also these wind instruments, whose acoustic power also permits to not utilize amplification, for a totally natural concert.

Ensemble Qoulisse, creative name that connects the trombone coulisse with the Q of quartet, is formed by Fabrizio Monticelli, Davide Redolfi, Anna Fioletti and Gianpaolo Londoño, young players and trombone teachers. For the occasion they will be joined by Alessandro Cordini and Roberto Bracchi from Conservatory Luca Marenzio of Brescia.

The concert is organized by Consorzio del Mincio in collaboration with Associazione Novae Deae to celebrate the centennial from the reclamation of river Mincio lands.
